My design consisted
of a box opened on one end, which is placed on top of a pedestal. Inside the box and at the bottom of the
pedestal are marbles of different size, color and texture. The box in the drawing was made by using the
"placing slab" command for the bottom and walls. The pedestal was designed by drawing half of
the object and using the "construct revolution" command to complete
the 3D image. Two types of lights were
given to the drawing: source lighting and global lighting.

The first drawing has a scene drawn in 3d. In order to draw the tree, I placed a sphere and a two-dimensional curve, which I then revolved around an axis and made a solid. This became the trunk. The rectangle became grass, and the oval became a pool of water. For the second drawing I revolved a two-dimensional curve into a surface. I made a vase-like shape and also one resembling a bowl. I assigned the vase a material of blue glass, and the bowl I assigned crystal.

For the final exam,
I chose to draw a backyard scene in three dimensions. The drawing consisted of
a fenced-in yard. Within the wooden
fence there is a pool with a marble surrounding, a wooden shed, some grass
around the fence, light posts, and some round stone-like walkways. The biggest struggle with this drawing was
keeping the attached materials to stay on each object. The easiest way to do this was to draw each
new material on a different level.
