Course description: Emphasis in this course is on improving the communication
skills of students seeking a career in business, technical or scientific
fields. NINE different assignments will include writing reports and
proposals and making one oral presentation. All formal, written assignments
must be typed according to the guidelines in the class text. Much of
this class will be a workshop where you work together with other students
to accomplish goals/tasks. Some of this class will be the traditional
