Classes

Philosophy:  I believe that students need to learn how to think so that they can apply the theory and applications learned in the classroom to real world problems.  To that end, I will ask many questions which do not have an answer in the textbook but that will require thought and research.  In the construction field nothing goes exactly according to plan, so the ability to think through a process and understand the next steps is crucial.   To me a successful student will know where to look to find an answer - either in a textbook, on the internet, or from knowledgeable colleagues and be able to apply the answer to a problem.
