My name is Dominick Ferone.
I am a graduate of SUNY Polytechnic Institute and received my degree in Communication Information Design in December 2018. While working towards my degree I founded and mentored a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics team and volunteered at various STEM events in the community, such as STEM Day, Career Fairs, Outreach at the New York State Fair, FIRST events across Central New York and Mohawk Valley Tech Showcase. Beyond my volunteer work, I also have experience working in the Admissions, K-12 Outreach and Instructional resources departments at SUNY Poly, designing videos, graphics, webpages, and giving presentations to potential students.
This video I created after the 2018 CNY Regional, recaps the inaugural robotics event bringing students from over 10 states, Canada, China and Chinese Tapei.
