ACRL Goals

The long term goals of ACRL research work include:

(1) To function as a multidisciplinary center of excellence in Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, and Autonomic Computing research fostering long-term collaborative partnerships amongst industry, academe, and government.

(2) To discover, share and leverage synergies of concepts, technologies and resources needed by industry-relevant Cybersecurity and Machine Learning research in collaboration with other research partners.

(3) To educate a diverse body of students on the above mentioned interdisciplinary fields and facilitate the creation of knowledge and technology. Hence, this will contribute to the development of highly skilled graduates in this critical area of national security.

(4) To develop a new cyber security courses and associated testbed to further promote cyber security education and research at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, particularly at our Computer and Network Security department.
