This character was designed as the third and final boss out of about 4 bosses in a class game that I was the artist on. I designed multiple assets for that game, between bosses, NPCs and world assets. Hyenal was supposed to be a Hyena boss in a Jungle World.
This character was designed as a main character for an ultimately scrapped project - Knights of the Solstice. This would've been an animated character with a sword, but I ended up with this (one of my better pixel art characters for now).
